Main Data Sources for Slovakia

  • Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic: The Statistical Office of the Slovak Republic is a central body of state administration of the Slovak Republic for the field of statistics. Its status is governed by the Act No. 575/2001 Code of Acts on Organizational Activity of Government and the Organization of Central State Administration as amended .
  • National Bank of Slovakia: Národná banka Slovenska (NBS) was established on 1 January 1993 by Act of the National Council of the Slovak Republic No. 566/1992 Coll. on the National Bank of Slovakia as the independent central bank of the Slovak Republic.
